The premier seating locations for corporate outings and parties at Municipal Stadium are the Martinelli’s VIP Deck and Futures Club. As a server you will be expected to perform in the following areas: deliver excellent customer service while cleaning and touching up the areas prior to service, interfacing with group sales department to identify groups and their needs, greeting guests and making contact with each group leader, distributing and explaining menu options, serving guests food from Turkey Mike’s BBQ and beverages, checking identification of all adults who purchase alcohol, maintaining service throughout the game, performing cash transactions for additional purchases, and bussing, cleaning, and upkeep postgame. All VIP Deck and Futures Club servers must meet certain qualifications to be eligible to serve. Qualifications include: prior restaurant and/or cash handling experience; strong organizational and customer service skills; and availability to work a variety of hours including weekdays, weekends and most evenings. In accordance with California state liquor laws, servers must be 18 years of age and over. Individual is required to have a Food Handler’s Card prior to being scheduled for work. Join the San Jose Giants postgame cleanup crew for the 2017 season! This position works to ensure Municipal Stadium is clean for all San Jose Giants home games and non-San Jose Giants events. The crew will be responsible for cleaning immediately following each game, most shifts are from 10:00 PM until 3:00 AM.  Duties include but are not limited to: picking up trash from seating bowl, blowing of seating bowl and bleachers, clean and restocking restrooms, cleaning concourse, removing trash/recycling, etc.  Must possess the ability to work various hours as needed including nights and weekends; the physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and walk long distances.  Ability to work outdoors with extreme heat and weather conditions and able to regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The Grounds Crew member will assist the Vice President of Ballpark Operations, performing in areas such as, but not limited to: Infield skin maintenance; Mound, home plate and bullpen repair; Sod work, fertilization, pest management; Water removal/tarp crew during inclement weather; Working all San Jose Giants home games; Field Maintenance when team is away and Landscape planning, implementing, and upkeep.  Responsibilities include: raking, mowing and repairing mound and plate areas after each use; Monitor local weather and assist in tarp situations; Assist Managers as needed; Basic maintenance and care of mowers and other equipment; Sod worn areas of turf; Paint logos, lines and other designs on playing field; Maintain parameters of a yearly budget; Manage and maintain a professional playing surface and flexibility to accept additional game responsibilities. Qualified candidate should have previous lawn maintenance experience. Individual must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. Up to 85% of schedule can be physical work with routine exposure to extreme temperatures (hot and cold), dust and airborne particles. During games the individual will supervise the Customer Service Booth, provide guests with general information about the San Jose Giants Baseball Club and ballpark in a clear and concise manner, assist in finding participants for on-field promotions and handle Family Fun Zone monetary transactions. This position requires availability to work all home games including weekdays, weekends, and evenings. Qualifications include: an energetic attitude and excellent communication skills, ability to work well under pressure, strong organization skills, two years of supervisory or managerial experience and previous customer service experience required. Seasonal position. Compensation is $10.75 per hour and will increase to $12.25 per hour starting July 1, 2017.
