					Responsibilities:
Financial: The Finance Intern will be responsible for assisting the Director of Finance with all aspects of the Stockton Ports finance and accounting operations. The applicant will focus on the entry and reconciliation of accounts receivable (Ticketing, Sponsorship, Merchandise, Gameday Revenue, etc), as well as account payable to Ports vendors. This position will also work to establish financial synergy between different departments of the Ports organization to ensure that deadlines are met, and finances are current. Other duties that may occur within this internship will be bank reconciliation, payroll, handling cash, file organization, and budgeting.
Game Day: This position will have the option to participate fully in Ports home games throughout the 2010 season. Positions in ticketing, hospitality, game entertainment, merchandise, and stadium operations are available. Other duties as assigned.
General duties: The applicant will be expected to assist the Ports Front Office in all administrative tasks, including, but not limited to: answering phones, covering the front desk, executing grassroots marketing efforts, helping to maintain the excellent overall condition of Banner Island Ballpark, and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Required:
The applicant must currently be enrolled in an accredited university, and working toward a degree in which course credits are earned through this internship. Finance and accounting experience is preferred, and

Applicant will help organize all Ports Anchor Fund charitable events throughout the summer, and see the events through to completion. This position will also play a large role in the Ports Baseball By the Books reading program, the Ports Kid&amp;rsquo;s Club, and Silver Sluggers Club, as well as the Ports Youth Baseball Camp. On game days, the applicant will be expected to assist with game entertainment as well as other duties as assigned.
